This is a stunning limited edition paperweight designed by Colin Terris (1937 - 2007), considered the Father of Paperweight Design and lead designer at Caithness Scotland from 1968 to 2002, when he retired.
This Caithness paperweight was designed in 1989 and was a limited edition of 750. This particular paperweight was #23. Hand-incised on the base with the limited edition number, the title 'Confusion', and Caithness Scotland.
It measures 3.1" wide, 2.66" high, and weighs 1.367 lbs.
It is in excellent condition. I observed it carefully and did not see any chips or flea bites.
