Blue Sheep’s Fescue is an ornamental grass that forms
very neat little mounds. NEVER NEEDS MOWING--- It never gets tall- but it can
be trimmed to your desired size.
These are established plants—NOT “plugs,” or seeds,
which will take two years to reach their mature size.
Very hearty-- can stand drought, poor soils, and the
salt-spray of shore properties.
Flowers in spring, but they
are not spectacular.
These low-growing ornamental clumps are excellent for
the front border, and the blue-green color complements all ornamentals.
A low maintenance ground cover.
Blue Fescue plant can survive extended droughts and
the stress of a drought only deepens the color of the ornamental grass. Blue
Fescue is one of the shortest ornamental grasses available, with the foliage
not exceeding 10 inches in height, (12” when blooming).
It has good winter color sometimes getting a little
greener during this period.
Blue Fescues are also very shade tolerant, often found
in the dry shade of trees. Once established, they will tolerate a lot of neglect.

Space the Blue Fescue clumps about 12 inches apart.
