The commemorative banknote "Unity saves the world" is dedicated to the indomitability of the Ukrainian people in the struggle for freedom and European values, the consolidation of Ukrainian society to protect territorial integrity, as well as the unification of the democratic world in the face of Russian aggression. A commemorative 50-hryvnia banknote issued in 2024 with the signature of the Chairman of the National Bank of Ukraine Andriy Pyshnyi of the EU series with numbers 0000001–0300000; contains protection elements of the current nominal series of banknotes and additional optically variable protection elements; circulation - 300,000 pcs. [of which: 299,952 pcs. – in a souvenir package, two uncut sheets (24 banknotes on one sheet)].

On the obverse side of the commemorative banknote, in the central part, there is an artistic composition depicting a stylized outline of Ukraine, which is associated with the heart, to which vessels fit. The background image is the image of a girl in a military helmet, looking towards the West. In the lower part of the commemorative banknote, against the background of the globe, there is a stylized image of Europe, from whose countries vessels-routes of aid and support for Ukraine seem to depart. Stylized hearts placed between the route vessels symbolize sacrifice and compassion. In the upper part of the commemorative banknote, there is a watermark in the center. To the right of the watermark field, there is a through element - a stylized chevron of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and a special relief element in the form of a circle for people with impaired vision. To the left of the watermark field is the inscription UKRAINE and the image of the small State Coat of Arms of Ukraine. Under the field of the watermark on both sides is a stylized composition of filled and contoured squares (the central squares are marked with the denomination of the commemorative banknote), a translucent strip filled with outlines of the logo of the National Bank of Ukraine. Under the strip in the center of the commemorative banknote is the inscription UNITY SAVES THE WORLD and two text blocks (left and right) in Ukrainian and English: UNITY / AND SOLIDARITY / WITH THE UKRAINIAN PEOPLE / THE VICTORY OF UKRAINE IS APPROACHING / IN THE FIGHT AGAINST / THE RUSSIAN AGGRESSOR / AND SAVE THE WORLD FROM CHAOS / AND THE DARKNESS OF VIOLENCE.; UNITY AND SOLIDARITY / WITH THE UKRAINIAN PEOPLE / ARE BRINGING CLOSER / UKRAINE’S VICTORY / IN THE FIGHT AGAINST / THE RUSSIAN AGGRESSOR, / AND ARE SAVING THE WORLD / FROM THE CHAOS / AND DARKNESS / OF VIOLENCE.; vertical inscription NATIONAL BANK OF UKRAINE, signature of the Chairman of the National Bank of Ukraine and the word CHAIRMAN - in the lower left part; the inscription FIFTY HRYVEN - in the central lower part. The numerical designation of the denomination is placed horizontally in the lower right part of the commemorative banknote. The design of the front side of the banknote is complemented by other elements made with multi-color printing.

The main image of the reverse side of the commemorative banknote is a symbolic composition of clasped hands symbolizing cooperation, mutual assistance, trust and partnership against the background of a stylized trident, the symbol of the Ukrainian state. In the upper part of the commemorative banknote, there is a stylized image of the digital designation of the denomination, formed by a protective grid. The inscription FIFTY / HRYVEN is located vertically in the upper right part of the banknote and horizontally in the central lower part. The digital designation of the denomination of 50 is placed horizontally in the upper right part of the banknote and vertically (together with the graphic designation of the hryvnia) in the lower left part of the commemorative banknote. In the upper part, in the center of the commemorative banknote, there is the inscription UNITY - STRENGTH! At the bottom of the commemorative banknote is the year of issue 2024. The serial number is printed twice. The horizontal number in the direction of reading (with variable height of the digits) is drawn along the upper edge of the commemorative banknote in red paint, the vertical number - along the left edge of the commemorative banknote in black paint. The design of the reverse side of the banknote is complemented by other elements made with multi-color printing.
