Amazing blemish-free steel case, as perfect is the ""Silver"" Dial, original embossed indices, 34mm X 38mm case diameter (excluding crown). Wonderful Vintage 70's suitable for any wrist. This is still an antique watch that needs to be treated, like all ""Vintage"" watches, with extreme care. I believe NO waterproof. *Technical note: With the 2390 calibre series, launched in 1954, the era of the modern automatic ETA began, of which theETA 2451 shown in PhotosTypical is the construction principle with indirectly operated hands and no center minute wheel, still used today, e.g. in the ETA 2824. Modern versions differ only in detail, but are constructively identical.
*Note to watchmaking "fanatics": In 1910 Paul Raff founded the Raff OHG a Pforzheim, Gymnasiumstrasse. In 1927 the brand's first wristwatches (derived from PAul RAff) which was recorded on June 3, 1929. In addition to models like FOR and PARAGLASS, particularly notable were the PARA NEPTUNE raincoat launched in 1932 and shockproof PROMINENT. Raff watches were first recognized internationally thanks to awards received at the Paris World's Fair.
In 1938 the company moved to its new headquarters at Durlacher Straße 69 in Pforzheim.
During World War II the Raff company was used to manufacture war watches and upholstery. From 1942 to 1945, in the midst of world war, the Company also employed ""forced"" workers to support the German Homeland. They are delivered primarily watches for the Wehrmacht German, including the famous "Watch watch" of Teutonic bombers.
On 23 February 1945 Pforzheim was almost completely destroyed by an attack by 379 British bombers. The PARA production building was razed to the ground. In the city of Hirsau Paul Raff manages to carry on production. The early postwar years were characterized by a permanent lack of resources. But in reality, fighting misery and adversity is a matter of inventiveness: So Raff began producing, from old war materials, aluminum pots and knobs.

NOTE: Mechanical watches need maintenance i.e. cleaning and oiling from time to time. I am not a technician I cannot do this alone.

Therefore, keep in mind that you never know exactly for how long and how functions a used mechanical watch.

Don't expect watches just out of the factory.

Being antique they should be treated as such i.e. with extreme care.
