1980's VINTAGE GENUINE US ARMY ISSUE M81 CAMO M65 FIELD JACKET

SERVICEABLE GRADE-2 CONDITION WITH FLAWS - SIZE SMALL REGULAR

This is a 1980's vintage genuine US military issue M65 cold weather field jacket, a legendary piece of post-war military surplus uniform these jackets are incredibly well made and will give many years of good service.

This particular coat is dated manufactured in 1989 by the DLA code and the contractor is Golden Mfg Co Inc.

Coat features heavy cotton blend shell in M81 woodland camouflage print, OG cotton lining, buttons inside enabling a quilted liner to be attached (Liner NOT included), heavy duty brass Scovil zip, lightweight hood concealed in collar, Velcro adjuster tabs to the cuffs and four large press-stud closure front cargo pockets.

CONDITION: Coat is in serviceable Grade-2 used condition with flaws, there are signs of olive green paint to the underside of the right sleeve, a small hole to the lower right pocket, a grubby mark to the lower front centre by the storm baffle, an area of small holes to the poplin lining and there is no waist drawcord present. These flaws are all pretty minor, this still looks like a perfectly respectable M65 and has a whole life left in it, the large OG plastic YKK zip is original and in good condition, the print is not faded to death, the Velcro and press studs are all fine, the hood is still present in the collar. SIZE: Jacket is labelled size Small-Regular, designed for this up to 5'11" in height with a natural chest of up to 37" (Men) / 40" (Women), it fits true to size and on the tape measure it comes up as follows: 42" chest (21" pit-to-pit), 18.5" across the shoulders, 18.5" under-arm, 25" from shoulder seam to cuff (Total sleeve length), 30.5" from rear collar seam to bottom hem of jacket.

CLEARANCE PRICE, this is far from mint but still perfectly serviceable and a genuine bargain for someone!
