Wilmer W. MacElree (1859 - January 16, 1960) was a lawyer, district attorney, and historian in Chester County, Pennsylvania, practicing law until the age of 93.  He was the author of books concerning nature and the area around the Brandywine, such as "Down the Eastern and Up the Black Brandywine", "Along the Western Brandywine", and "Around the Boundaries of Chester County".

This volume contains numerous photos, fold-out maps, and illustrations and has been signed by the author on the title page.
