The new socket is designed to allow connection to a "Foster Type" filler nipple buried deep in the stock, if you need a coupler release tool then this socket should do the trick as the release ring is 30mm long.
Works with FX Deep Recessed Stock, Daystate and Brocock Deep Recessed Stock Early "Swift" and "Dr Bobs" Type Theoben and BSA Superten Quick Fill without additional coupler release tool.
