This is a very nice lens for both digital and film cameras

Very functional solid tripod mount that rotates nicely

Built in hood

The is a present lens (1) first you pre-select your f stop on one ring. (2) Then you focus wide open (which is nice for digital, much easier).

(3) Next you turn the second f stop ring just prior to shooting which goes directly to the pre-select f stop. This makes this lens nice when shooting digital because focusing is done wide open which 

is much easier

The tripod collar makes this a nice stable lens to shoot with

The focus is smooth

The f stops work well

The interior blades are without grease

The coatings are even without any blemishes
