This is our book telling the story of how Southern league Tottenham Hotspur, against all the odds won the F A Cup in 1901, beating Sheffield United after a replay.


The book covers the early rounds of both teams, the semi-finals, final and replay, also the celebrations that followed after Spurs' victory at Burnden Park.


Other chapters include Life at the beginning of the 20th Century, The History of the F A Cup up until 1901, The Crystal Palace as a sporting venue and The history of the Southern league up until 1901, there are bios of the players of both teams as well.


The book is well illustrated, including 11 unpublished photos showing crowd scenes taken at the Crystal Palace by an amateur photographer.
