Singer Featherlite Sewing Machine

Model 221

Year: 1957

This sewing machine is in excellent physical condition. This machine was barley used if it was used at all. There are very few scuffs and scratches. The light works. The included pedal works. This listing comes with the items you see in the photos except for the black mat and the spool of thread that I borrowed to test the machine. The carrying case has both working keys included. There are a few packs of needles that contain about 6 needles total. There are two bobbins: one shown on the table and the other is in the machine.

A nice bonus is that it comes with a mini collection of sewing machine screwdrivers. (as seen in the photos.) Some are marked SINGER, SIMANCO, or are not marked.

I tested it at the range of threads per inch at low and high speeds and it worked as it should. The last photos shows the stitches. The top thread is blue and the bobbin thread is white. I only tested the machine the way you see it set up in the photos. The extra parts and attachments have not been tested.

I gave it a light wipe down to remove any dust. I leave it to the collector to do any further cleaning, polishing, lubrication, or other maintenance.
