Gustaf's Licorice Ice - Originally called schoolkrijt - was invented back in the sixties by a small candy factory in Amsterdam.  Like so many success stories the original business was absorbed by a much larger company in a faraway land. 

at Gustaf's, we are pleased to produce this unique candy back home in Holland.  

Enjoy the refreshing peppermint as it melts into mild licorice on through to the soft sweet center of each piece. 

Gustaf's Licorice Ice consists of soft, sweet licorice inside a delicate mint candy shell .

This refreshingly crunchy confection has been a favorite for over 50 years in Europe, where it is known by the endearing name of school chalk (Schoolkrijt) 

Ingredients: Sugar, Molasses, Wheat Flour, Glucose Syrup, Coconut Fat, Licorice Extract, Ammonium Chloride, Thickening Agent (Arabic Gum), Color (Titanium Dioxide), Modified Potato Starch, Coconut Oil, Stablilizer (Sorbitol), Natural Flavors ( Anis, Menthol) Emulsifier ( Mono and Diglycerides of Fatty Acids)  Contains Wheat and Coconut.
