This antique marching band bass drum was used in my hometown's annual Labor Day Parade. The local Pythian Lodge were the owners. I'm 66 years old and I remember it in every yearly parade I viewed. The dimensions of the drum are 13 3/4 " wide x 24 " tall. This drum has broken skin on one side. Each side has graphics on it with dates and the initials of the person who applied the graphics. One side has EEM 55 and the other side has EEM 5/32. I believe it is made of maple and the brand name is missing. It shows signs of use and age. It's a nice piece of small town Americana and it's appearance tells it's story.
