This homemade apron is 100% cotton.  It was made and used in the 1950s.  The apron is a full apron, covering 28 inches from top to bottom.  The width is 40 inches front and back.  The ties are both 38 inches long for ease in tying the apron around your waist.  There are 3 pockets in the front, which is quite unusual for an apron.  There is a button and button hole on the top back to better wear the apron.  The fabric has not faded in color over the years, showing the gentle care this apron has received.
