Please review all pictures for overall condition and size, as this helps form the overall condition/description of the item. Wear is consistent with age and use. Has some tarnish/oxidation, nicks/wear on the edges. Material looks to be steel to us. Beveled on both sides, visible in photos but it is a lot more noticeable in person. It has nice weight is very solid, other than a cavity to fit the handle.

It came from a property that managed old agricultural land for a long time, in rural Northwest Massachusetts. It looks to match mostly to Tobacco spears, could have been used for a number of tasks though. Measurements are in the photos, about 5.5" long and 1 9/16" wide.
