Copper framed hanging lantern, featuring 6 amber coloured Boda glass panels, designed by Erik Hoglund.

Circa 1950s/1960s.

The lantern measures 21.8cm tall and width at widest point is approx 20cm.

Chain measures approx 42cm long.

There are some surface marks at the bottom of the frame, but otherwise in very good condition.

Lantern is wired, but should be checked over by a qualified electrician. sold as a collectors item
Takes a E27(screw thread) bulb.

Weighs just over 3.5kg before packing.

when you are buying vintage glassware, you should expect some age related signs of wear such as very small fine surface scratches/marks. Also many of the items are hand made, they may have small imperfections such as bubbles, inclusions & lumps within the glass and often tool marks from where they have been shaped and worked in the manufacturing process. These are not usually seen by collectors as faults or damage, but as part of the character of hand made glass and are not usually mentioned in the description.
