This listing is for the Dell Studio 1555 15.4 Inch laptop in the images shown. This laptop includes a genuine Dell 130 watt charger. 

This laptop has a backlit keyboard, an HDMI port, DVDRW drive, ExpressCard slot and a firewire port.

This laptop is in functional condition. All of the keys work properly and the screen is nice and bright.

Battery:  Please note that the battery is dead and no longer holds a charge. The laptop reports this battery error when you first power the laptop up. The battery is user replaceable on this laptop. The laptop is totally usable when plugged into the charger. 

Also, As a result of the dead battery the CMOS RTC clock resets when the laptop is unplugged. Replacing the battery will fix this issue.

Windows: This computer has a license for Windows 7 Home Premium attached. The computer currently has a fresh installation Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit bit installed. This installation is activated. A Windows 7 install DVD is also included.

Please note that Microsoft no longer supports Windows 7. Microsoft no longer offers updates or any other form of support for Windows Vista as of April, 2020.

This laptop also qualifies for a free upgrade to Windows 10. Please note that Dell does not offer driver support for this laptop under Windows 10. 

Cosmetics:  This unit has minor wear as you can see in the images shown. Also note that the rubbereized covering on the laptop lid is somewhat sticky to the touch. This is a common issue with Dell laptops from this time period.
