This TE590 PLUS is unlike any conventional two-way radio where coverage is limited dependant on how freely a radio signal can be sent. Coverage with the TE590 PLUS is almost UNLIMITED as it utilises the mobile phone networks, which offers over 99% coverage in the UK by population on the EE network (the radio accepts most 3G SIMS) and can also utilise WiFi where mobile phone coverage is not available.

 

The TE590 PLUS uses these signals to transmit secure digital packets to a server which sends that information back as a secure voice message to all the users in your group/channel instantly. This means that within a push of a button you can send a message across a building, a city or even the world using this radio. 

 

Until now if you want wide range coverage with two-way radio, you would need to invest in expensive infrastructure that would still give you restricted coverage in comparison to using network radio, and not to mention that the 3g/4g radios are licence free, meaning you no longer have to apply and pay for the right to use your radio!

If the product is not suitable or bought in error, please return it at your expense for a full refund within 30 days. Due to hygiene reasons we cannot refund used or tried earpieces unless they are faulty.

Radioswap Ltd do not and have never supplied high power radios on PMR446 or any other LPD frequencies.

Following an agreement with OFCOM Radioswap Ltd supply all high-power radios on UK General - Business Lite frequencies at a maximum power output of 5 watts. Customers are advised that a licence is required at £75 for 5 years. This covers unlimited sets. It is the operators responsibility to ensure they operate legally. It is the responsibility of Radioswap Ltd to ensure the equipment supplied can be operated legally

Exceptions - Customers holding alternate valid UK PBR licences may request equipment to be programmed to their licensed frequencies upon presentation of a valid OFCOM licence. Radio amateurs may request equipment to be programmed to amateur radio frequencies. Export customers may request specific frequencies. However, it is their responsibility to ensure they operate any equipment legally in their jurisdiction.
