Pair of Vintage French Porcelain Door Push / Finger Plates,
Birds, Cardinal, Signed “Porcelaine de Paris. France”
This pair of charming vintage French door push plates or finger plates, one for above the door handle and the other for below, are designed with a central image of a different bird for each, a Northern Cardinal for the bottom one and a Rose-Breasted Grosbeak for the upper. The maker's mark along with the words, “Porcelaine de Paris. France”, is stamped on the backs of the plates. These plates are in very good condition, with the exception of small chips around the holes on the back of one plate. Please refer to the detailed photos on this page. This pair of plates will add a charming “French” touch to your décor.
