Vintage French Santons Figurines, Christmas Nativity Set 

from Provence, Ricard and Bourges, Creche, 8 pcs

This charming eight piece Nativity set from Provence includes the Holy Family, an angel, a young boy, an ox, a donkey and a sheep. Four figures bear the signature of Edouard Ricard (1907-1975), famous “santonnier”, or santon maker in Marseille. The Infant Jesus is signed “Bourges. Saint-Rémy-de-Provence”, the mark of the Bourges family, santon maker’s since the 1960’s.

These santons are in very good condition, with the exception of signs of normal age and a chip on one hand on the Joseph figure. This Nativity set will add a charming atmosphere of Christmas in Provence to your home or an excellent addition to your collection.

Items in Paris, France, are sent by registered mail via the French Post Office.

No questions asked return policy. Items must be returned in 14 business days. Item must be returned undamaged, in its original condition and packed, shipped, and insured in the same manner. Buyer pays return shipping and a 10% restocking fee.
