Old French Wooden Box “Children Playing in the Park”

This very old French wooden box is handmade, using the strong and solid ancient woodworking technique of “mortise and tenon”, one of the famous methods of traditional woodworking.  The cover is covered with an image on paper of children playing in a park. The underside of the box still carries the original price tag with the price in French francs, “3,75 francs”. This piece is in good condition with the exception of signs of use to the wood, commensurate with age and use. Please refer to the detailed photos on this page. Items will be shipped on the first shipping day after payment is received.

Items in the US are sent via USPS.

Items in Paris, France, are sent by registered mail via the French Post Office.

Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charge. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility. Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.

Return Policy

No questions asked return policy. Items must be returned in 14 business days. Item must be returned undamaged, in its original condition and packed, shipped, and insured in the same manner. Buyer pays return shipping and a 10% restocking fee.
