For sale is a box of 12 vintage Kokeshi birthday candle holders / picks, made in Japan in the 1960’s. They are hand carved wood and hand painted. They are in excellent condition. They are approximately 2” in length. Kokeshi’s are traditional Japanese wooden dolls. Each one has a unique story and is handcrafted by Japanese artisans. These Kokeshi candle holders are very cool. They are picks and the heads hold the candles. 6 of the candles are still packaged in the box. The cellophane on the box lid is ripped, but the box is in overall good condition with great graphics. This set would be a great addition to any Kokeshi collection.
