2 X 12 Badger Bass Cab with Fane Drivers, Fairly Unique Vintage Item, Great Tone!

(No Shipping as unable to insure in transit and may get damaged if dropped - Cash on Collection Only Please on this item, thanks - collection from Northallerton, North Yorkshire)

Would also make good 2 x 12 inch project cab or speakers for project into another cab.

Owned by myself since the mid 90s when I myself bought it as vintage item. No doubt has its own story of how it came to be, seemingly lost to the passage of time and not easy to research in this case as little information seems to be readily available about Badger (a Leeds based company who produced amplifiers etc.).
Until recently, I thought it was an HH cab as it had an HH badge on the front, despite the Badger Spec Plate on the rear. However, I don't know the details of any alliances between Badger and HH or Badger and Fane so have to assume it is a Badger Cab with Fane Speakers. Whether they are the original speakers that Badger supplied the cab with or whether they were replaced I couldn't say. Again, what was modification and what was Badger work I couldn't say either for example, the white speaker grills or the front cloth cover.

The porting at the bottom is a nice touch, not offered in the HH cabs. HH did not offer the 2x12 bass cab either so may well have been a custom order from badger or an adaption of some sort.

The RMS rating on the plate is 200 watts however, the picture of the Fane Pop Driver Specs would suggest 120 watts RMS, if they are Fane Pop Speakers and not a slightly different model. Either way, they are definitely Fane bass drivers and the cab has reasonable power handling for a vintage 2x12. I used it for my first short stint of club gigs, paired with a 120 watt amp and it coped really well, even without going into a PA.

Stored as a backup for the last ten years.
Handles are spring loaded steel.
One 1/4 inch jack input.
4 Ohms Impedance
Great true tone.
Recently tested and worked fine.
Driver Weight 5kg each including grills.

Bit of lifting of the vinyl in the porting, could be glued back down. Minor general wear and tear but very good condition for age. Very well built. Few tiny screw holes in the top.

Selling for space but equally happy to keep as a useful backup cab.
