Vintage Lady Sheaffer IV Paisley Black Fountain Pen, Broad Steel Nib, c1960's
Vintage pen made in the early 1960's. This was a clipless range consisting of around 20 models. Black enamelled finish with gold cut in a Paisley pattern. It has a Broad Stainless steel Triumph wrap around nib and black section. The pen has wear to the black enamel but it has a perfect broad stainless steel Triumph wrap around nib.
Condition report:
The pen is in used external cosmetic condition with no marks or damage other than wear to the black enamel on the cap and barrel. This is a clipless design. Black section is excellent with just a circular mark caused by the cap. A stainless steel Triumph nib is fitted and in perfect condition. No size marked but it looks like a broad. Uses Sheaffer cartridges (none supplied ). Dip tested and writes nicely (see photo of writing sample). No box.
