This particular pedestal bowl is approximately 14.5cm high and 17.5cm in diameter.

These are ancient vessels that show signs of age, wear, use, storage, with chips, cracks and general signs of 1000+ years of use - some of these have sellotape marks where we catalogued them with stuck-on numbers prior to packing - though the list is long lost!

We lived in Bogota in the early 1970's and acquired a quantity of these pre-Columbian/Colombian/Mayan artefacts in Ecuador, Peru and Colombia in 1971, literally as they were being dug out of the ground - there's a picture of me back in '71 with a couple of artefacts, and looking down in to an excavation site.

These returned to the UK with us in 1972 and they remained in the back of a garage for 50 odd years, wrapped in straw and original 1971 newspaper!

Will be sent securely wrapped, please see my 'other items' for more of these pots and vessels and other artefacts...
