A 1950-60s Atomic Era, mid-century modern eyeball table lamp with a chrome finish. Comprised of three pieces - the “eyeball” sphere articulates on its cylindrical collar and base allowing the light to be directed in a multitude of directions. Can be used with magnetic collar and positioned at different angles or simply rested in lower hollow column. Use as accent or spot light.

Although the lamp is unbranded, the design, materials, age and comparable online examples attribute this piece to George Kovacs or Robert Sonneman; circa 1950-60s.

Measures approximately overall 7"H; base column is 3"D x 2.5”H; eyeball is approximately 5”D.

TERMS OF SALE

1. Item Descriptions and Image Item is being sold as is and as described. Please ask all pertinent questions before bidding and prior to auction end. I am not a professional dealer or expert on the items I sell. I will describe marks, monograms and signatures along with a condition report to the best of my ability. Colors display differently on computer monitors – I usually provide photos with and without flash to show varying colors. All items are fairly represented and sold in "as is” condition.

2. Payments Payment is due within 48 hours (2 days) of auction close or purchase date. Buyers must pay before merchandise is released. Payments must be received within two days of the end of the listing unless prior arrangements have been made. If you cannot provide payment within two days, please contact me. eBay will automatically open an “unpaid case” and apply a “strike” against any buyer who violates this payment policy.

3. Shipping and Handling I ship within 48 hours of payment. Items ship U.S. Postal Service “Economy.” The shipping charge includes shipping costs, boxes, packing materials and handling. I will pack carefully to help ensure safety and that your item arrives intact. I often need to purchase shipping boxes. Boxes can cost between $4 and $7 each, depending on size and thickness. Additional money is spent on packing materials. Check my feedback as previous customers have been satisfied with my packing. If the buyer wants a different a shipping method, actual shipping and handling costs will be charged. Double-boxing is not included unless otherwise stated. International Shipping: International shipping is not offered on all auctions – check listing carefully.

Where international shipping is offered - we participate in eBay's Global Shipping Program. Fees for this program, including any import fees which are generally charged on the high bid amount at the end of the auction, are calculated and charged by eBay. We do not calculate these fees, have no control over, and do not benefit from them in any way. Please take this into consideration when placing your bid. We are unable to ship internationally except through the Global Shipping Program. Claims for damages in transit are the responsibility of the buyer to file with the shipper directly. I am not responsible for the transit time once the item(s) has been accepted by the shipping carrier and eBay delivery estimates are often misrepresented and not relevant in my transactions. International buyers, please note: Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine costs prior to bidding or buying. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up; do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.

Returns

Returns or refunds are not offered on all sales - check listing carefully for details. In instances where returns are accepted, original shipping cost, and the shipping cost to return, are the buyer’s responsibility. In the unlikely event the item is damaged during transport, seller assumes responsibility for all shipping costs.
