R.A. MILLER ink DEVIL on Dry ERASE board Southern FOLK art GEORGIA

Southern folk artist R.A. Miller (1912-2006) used ink on a dry erase board surface to create his well-known devil figure.

To the right there is a white plastic piece to hold a pen. The paper board has two treated surfaces. It measures 11 x 8 ½ inches

The dry erase board is a Realty agent’s branded company promotional product. R.A. Miller envisioned it as a surface for his Devil motif. Miller used any surface at hand to create his work. I suspect he made it while journalist Marcia Corbino was at his house in 1999 as a gift for her other purchases that are now listed on eBay.

It will adhere to your refrigerator or any metal surface like the side of a metal file cabinet with four magnets on each corner of the verso. The four corners are a bit creased and the image is erasable. Note: When I photographed this image, I placed it on a metal seat.
