Genuine Porsche 718 Cayman GTS 4.0 Brembo 6 Piston Front Brake Calipers, Discs & Pads.
For sale is a front brake kit from a 2022 718 Cayman GTS 4.0, the car had covered only 4,500 miles.
Included in the kit are the following items;
FITMENT: These brakes are from a 2022 718 Cayman GTS 4.0, however they share the same part numbers as the base 992 911 (e.g C2 / C2S / C4S). These are the larger 6 piston calipers and are nice upgrade over the stock 718 Cayman 4 piston set up. There is well documented information online showing these being fitted to 718 Caymans. Please ensure you are 100% confident that these will fit your intended application, as returns due to fitment issues will not be accepted. You are responsible for ensuring these are suitable for your needs.
COSMETIC CONDITION: The Brembo calipers are in excellent overall condition, with only some tiny stone chips present. The marks I am describing are insignificant, and could touched up before fitting if you wished. Please check the photos for clarity and you will see the details of the marks that I am describing. I am confident that you would struggle to find a set of used calipers in a similar condition. There is some light swirling to the paint, which is a normal result of being washed etc.
BLEED NIPPLES: All 4 bleed nipples are free moving.
PISTONS & SEALS: Pistons are all moving freely and there is no seal damage.
BRAKE PADS & WEAR SENSORS: The brake pads are genuine Porsche parts, in excellent condition ready to be re-used. You will see the pads measure 10mm, which is the same thickness as a brand new set of pads. Included are both wear sensors.
BRAKE DISCS: Genuine Porsche 350x34mm discs, in excellent condition, with no measurable wear. You will see the disc thickness is measuring at 35mm, which is the same thickness as new. There is no lip at all, and the surface corrosion pictured is simply from storage, this would disappear once fitted and used again. There are a couple of marks to the black finish of the disc bells, however this could easily be touched up if required. These discs are handed, and you can see the part number stampings by looking at the pictures.
OTHER INFORMATION: Open to a sensible offer, close to the asking price, but silly low ball offers will be rejected. Free postage, within the UK via Royal Mail Special Delivery. The brakes will be properly packaged to avoid any damage in transit. Finally, please ensure that you look at all the pictures carefully to ensure that you 100% satisfy yourself of the condition before committing to buy.
