This listing is for a charger plate adapter for Club Car Precedent carts. This will allow you to replace your factory charger port with a 120V plug and mount your charger on the cart. (otherwise called onboard chargers) This item has a matte style of finish and is not shiny. Your factory port isn't made of fancy shiny plastic, it's made of matte black. This item has a similar finish and will not stand out or draw attention to the cover plate when installed. We are a golf cart shop who make and install these plates. We've used all the different ones available on the market from commercial and noncommercial sources. We had an engineer using CAD software create this model and we print them in our shop. Using this plate allows the installation of the 120V plug to replace the charger plug port. This allows the charger to be mounted on/in the cart and the end user to simply plug in an extension cord to charge. This prevents the accidental damage to the charger that so frequently occurs in garages. If you have any questions, please send us a message. We have now made available a variety of colors. As you can see above, we have attached a photo of some of the newly produced colors. eBay's antiquated system doesn't allow any variation listings in this category (or any other category I've found in golf cart parts) so until a time in which we can find a category to list the variations, you will need to request the any of the colors. Simply email us to make the request, or leave a note at checkout. There will not be any surcharge for most colors. Some specialty colors will have a small surcharge due to the increased cost of the material. This kit is designed to work with all Lithium makes including RoyPow, Allied, Ecobattery, etc.
The plug itself is not included in this listing. This is just for the plate. There are several brands that make the 120V ports, including NOCO and Allied Battery. Do yourself a favor and don't buy a cheap adapter plug that requires you to strip your charger cord and screw down the wires. They become loose over time and can cause fires. We don't want to see or hear about anyone being hurt by a golf cart for any reason, much less so because of cheap Chinese made plugs. There are several on the market that claim waterproof design, however you can tell by looking at them that they are not. The NOCO style unit is molded as a single piece and is 100% waterproof.
