Basically, it was sent without taping the silver  record plate down, so the plate came loose under the lid and somehow bent the record turning part in the centre. It's currently not staying  straight, and this makes the plate look slanted, but i think this could be fixed as it's just come loose. The rest of the turntable is in excellent condition such as needle/cartridge/lid..  so it could easily be used for parts or as a repair project.
