This PSX is running the latest 1.31 firmware.
This PSX has a working 250GB hard drive.
The DVD burner laser doesn't read DVD's or CD's which means the only way you can play disc based games is to use a FreeMcBoot memory card. This work by booting the system into PS2 mode so discs can be read by the PS2 laser. It's recommended to use a FMCB card with these units as it reduces wear on the hard drive.
An Official Sony PS2 memory card with Free Mcboot installed will be included.
The CR2032 battery has been replaced with a new one.
Power supply caps have been checked and are fine.
Lasers have been cleaned and rails greased.
Hard drive doesn't make any unhealthy noises.
Also included is the rear port cover in pictures, these are usually missing.
This unit is in very good condition, it does have a few light scratches but no major marks or scratches.
You'll need a stepdown converter to use this item as it's designed for the 100v system in Japan, these converters are easily found online.
