Here we have my 1980s Remo Acousticon Kit in very good condition considering it is about 40 years old.

It comes with Remo's famous "Quick Release" lugs and a wonderful Kaleidoscope Quadura Wrap which, although renowned for being hardwearing, has a couple of marks and scratches from the hardware on the Rack Toms, and a small piece missing (about the size of 1p) on the Kick Drum (see photo) It still looks fantastic under lights :)

This is a vintage kit so the chrome has some minor pitting which is to be expected and hopefully can be seen in the photos, but generally it's in a good state.

It comes complete with a Remo Quadura Acousticon SX Snare Drum which is in very good condition.

The kit has the usual 1980s big "power" tom sizes and comprises:-

22 x 16 Kick Drum

12 x 11 Rack Tom

13 x 12 Rack Tom

16 x 16 Floor Tom

14 x 5.5 Snare Drum

All drums have Diplomat Resonant Heads except the Kick which has its original matching the Wrap

The Toms have Brand New Clear Emperors, while the Snare has a New Coated Ambassador

The Kick Drum has a WeatherKing.

As you can see by the pictures it sets up easily as a '2 Up, 1 Down' or my preference '1 Up, 2 Down' the tom stands and an old cymbal stand base are included in the sale so you can set it up either way. The snare stand is also included along with the Floor Tom legs.

All in all, a very good example of this infamous vintage kit made from wood & resin composite. Easy to tune for a great 80's sound!
