RARE Vintage Lady Sheaffer XII Tulle Gold Fountain Pen, 14K Triumph Nib *Nr MINT
Lovely rare vintage pen made in the early 1960's. This was a clipless range consisting of around 20 models. Gold enamelled finish with an engraved Tulle pattern with a 14K Triumph wrap around nib and Mandarin Red section. Near mint condition given its age as most used examples usually have heavy signs of wear. This is one of the rarer and nicer models in the range and is very collectible!
Condition report:
Gold enamelled finish with a Tulle pattern. This is a clipless design. The pen is in near mint cosmetic condition which is unusual as this finish usually wears badly over time (see photos). There is a tiny ding on the very end of the cap (see photos). The Mandardin section is perfect. A 14K Triumph nib in perfect condition is fitted. No size marked but looks like a medium. Uses Sheaffer cartridges (none supplied ). Dip tested and writes really nicely (see photo of writing sample). No box.
