TRANSFORMERS 'THE DESTRUCTONS' 2000-PIECE PUZZLE. The puzzle measures 26.8 inches by 37.8 inches and was custom made to keep me busy during some down time when the pandemic left many of us without work in 2020. This is a 1-of-a-kind item with exclusive artwork you won't see anywhere else.

SOME BACKGROUND INFORMATION IN CASE YOU HAVE QUESTIONS
: This puzzle features obscure Transformers characters 'The Destructons': Lord Imperious Delirious, Bruton, Medusa & Psychokhan (these characters originally featured in the rare 'Transformers in 3D' comic from Blackthorne Publishing in the 80's, though the characters have recently been revisited in recent official Transformers fiction). The artwork is from a long-running but since discontinued art portfolio project in the early 2000's which featured official Transformers artists who were paid for their work to produce character art of mostly obscure characters from the cartoon and comics. This artwork was then grouped in volumes (generally by faction or relation to cartoon/comic story) and then semi-routinely released in a collection of hi-quality photoprints in limited edition numbered portfolios. Sales of these were intended to filter back into paying the artists for more work and so on and so forth. For a multitude of reasons, the project was eventually discontinued, though an incredible amount of unseen artwork had been produced. The artwork on this puzzle is from an unproduced portfolio which would have featured the Destructons and a couple other random characters from the issue that they originally appeared in. Psychokhan and Lord Imperious Delirious were rendered by Marcelo Matere. Bruton and Medusa were rendered by Makoto Ono.

The puzzle image puts the individual character artwork grouped together in a way that evokes their introduction in the comic. It was custom made through PuzzlesPrint. It is a beautiful puzzle, but after a year of picking at it, as you can see, I have not been able to complete it. It is a MONSTER of a puzzle. I have had to move it to a bigger area twice since I started. It would look gorgeous if completed but I've had to make the hard decision to leave that to someone else. Maybe that person is you. Thanks for reading.
