This is a cam lock tool to
assist in replacing the timing belt in the 3.0L 6G72 DOHC found in the
1991-1999 Mitsubishi 3000GT and 1991-1996 Dodge Stealth. Simply line up
the timing to TDC where the dots on the cams line up to the arrow
markers on the heads directly behind the cams, insert the locking tool,
and remove/replace the timing belt. It saves a LOT of time and hassle
trying to get everything lined up by turning the heads to the correct
position with wrenches. Features extra depth for additional surface area
and a handy pull tab to assist in removal once the new timing belt is
installed.
