You are looking at a very vintage - likely circa the late 1940s or early 1950s - Wendell August Forge covered casserole and tray in their famed Dogwood pattern.  It comes complete with the original Pyrex dish!  It is registered as design number 735 in their catalogue, as stamped into the bottom of the tray.

It is sold in excellent used condition.

Handmade in Grove City, Pennsylvania since 1923, Wendell August Forge's work is high-quality aluminum that has been hammered and patterned to create one-of-a-kind pieces that are passed down through the generations.  This particular casserole with tray and lid belonged to my grandmother.  Our family hailed from Western Pennsylvania, so there's a good chance this was a gift from my grandfather or even a wedding present.

The tray measures 14" wide by 9" across.  The Pyrex casserole nestles into a well and the lid is custom fitted to the rim and handles of the Pyrex dish.  The lid features a precious (and still functional) corkscrew loop handle.

Condition note: as shown, the bottom of the tray has a piece of masking tape on it that my grandmother traditionally used to mark her serving pieces if they were taken to parties or lent out.  You can feel free to remove, but I wanted to sell in as original condition as possible.
