Shamisen Hosozao Thin neck Washi pasting L24.8in Japanese Traditional Instrument

Description

Instead of dog or cat skins, Japanese paper is pasted on, but as it contains plastic components, it is quite strong.
Of course, if you deliberately poke it with a sharp object or touch it with a blade, it will tear, but if you play it in the normal way, it will be fine.
It is more secure when played with a fingernail than with a plectrum.
Although the volume is slightly less than leather, the sound quality is milder than leather, which I personally prefer.
In addition, there is transparent tape around the bottom of the piece to prevent it from being torn by the sharp piece corners.

The best thing is that, unlike normal shamisen, if the skin is torn, it can be easily replaced because it is made of Japanese paper!
