Here is an outstanding hand painted portrait vase done by the Berliner Porzellan Manufaktur (BPM).

It features a portrait of Elsa von Brabant, a fictional character who gained notoriety as the main female protagonist in Richard Wagner's opera Lohengrin.

She is surrounded by solid gold raised floral accents and an iridescent finish with hints of red. The top portion of the vase is decorated with pink, red and yellow flowers underneath cross thatched gold.


MEASUREMENTS: it is a little over 4 ¼” tall

MAKER: it is marked B.P.M. (Berliner Porzellan Manufaktur) and hand written “Elsa”, “D. 128”, and “39” along with a gold covered R.C. Bavaria mark. It is unsigned by the artist.

CONDITION: good with no nicks, cracks or restoration
