Rare Vintage Wedgwood Federal Bowl - made in England. This transferware bowl measures approximately Approximately 12 1/4" inches across by 5 1/2" inches high, and has an ivory background with grey and black images. External images feature the U. S. Capitol, White House, Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, Washington, Jefferson, Jackson, Lincoln. Inside images include medallions featuring the flags of the first 13 colonies, along with a central image of George Washington and family.
The bowl carries the manufacturer's mark: "The Federal Bowl - designed by Wedgwood for Martin’s, Washington - from designs by Alan Price -- Wedgwood of Etruria and Barlaston, Made in England -- Engraved by the Wedgwood Studios".
This bowl has been carefully stored away
for many years, and it is in excellent condition - No crazing, chips,
cracks, stains, marks or repairs anywhere
on this item. Any reflection,
