The new "Ford GT" was first unveiled in 2015 to coincide with the 50th anniversary of the legendary "Ford GT40," the car that dominated 1st-3rd place at "Le Mans" in 1966.
This supercar is a production car based on the race car that would go on to win its class at the following year's "Le Mans" in 2016.
Equipped with a lightweight carbon fiber body and a 3.5-liter V6 twin-turbo engine with a maximum output of 647 hp, the car has a top speed of 347 km/h and 0-100 km/h acceleration in 3.0 seconds.
Due to a rush of prospective buyers, 1,000 units were produced, double the originally planned production volume.
Auto Art has reproduced the extremely wide and low proportions of the "GT40" motif as well as every detail in realistic detail.
The upward opening dihedral doors and active rear spoiler are movable.
