Plates are created in 1993 and belong to "Flower Fairies" series. Limited edition, plate numbers 8551C and 9495C, named "Delicate Dancers" and "Mischief Masters".
Created by paintings of Lena Liu. She is a famous American-Taiwanese artist, known for her paintings and patterns with flowers. She came to the United States in 1972 to study architecture at Buffalo State University. She defended her thesis at the School of Architecture U.C.L.A., Los Angeles. Decorates and creates porcelain plates, figurines, music boxes, sculptures, postcards, tapestries, bookmarks and calendars. Lena Liu has achieved recognition from various organizations: Collector's Information Bureau, Collector's Choice, Bradford Exchange etc.
W.S. George Pottery was American porcelain and ceramics manufacturer. It was founded in 1904, when William Shaw George acquired East Palestine Pottery Company. W.S. George Pottery had many facilities in states Ohio and Pannsylvania. The company produced various tableware and during the best years it was able to produce over 800,000 dinnerware sets. Among the most famous product lines were: "Georgette", "Yellotone", "Astor Shape", etc. W.S. George was closed in 1960.
