Cave à liqueur, also sometimes called "tantalus", is a compact "cabinet" with a set for alcoholic beverages inside (usually 2-4 decanters and a multiple of 4 the number of glasses - from 8 to 32), fixed with a stand called "serviteur". Such caves were usually used for fermented sweet, weaker, alcoholic drinks like brandy or liqueurs.
The condition is very good as for an antique item of such age, with traces of age and usage, age stains, cracks, small chip on cave's lid (see photos), serviteur has slightly curved upper nests. Requires some force while opening and closing. There was a high-quality restoration.
