Stunning set of 5 various faience glazed vases with hand painted floral pattern on light beige. Set includes 2 column-like vases with brass top and bottom, 2 big column-like vases with spiral design and a square fruit vase on console-like brown legs.

Fruit vase has a Luneville mark (period 1880-1920). In 1728, Jacques Chambrette established the first earthenware factory in Lunéville, Lorraine, near the River Meuse. Lunéville became a main rival to English and German ceramics centers, exporting wares to various countries. From 1812, Keller and Guérin led the Lunéville manufacture. Faience manufacturers thrived in the region between 1700 and 1800 due to the prohibition of silver dinner services, leading to favorable conditions for faience production. Lunéville artisans were inspired by their surroundings, creating faience decorated with various motifs including flowers, animals, and Chinese designs. In 1758, Jacques Chambrette started another faience factory in Saint-Clément. In 1922, Édouard Fenal purchased the Lunéville and Saint-Clément factories, later expanding the group by acquiring the Sarreguemines ceramics complex in 1979.Lunéville production ceased in 1981, while Saint-Clément remained operational.

The condition is very good, with traces of age and usage, age stains, patina, age craquelure, light cracks inside (does not affect integrity, not an obstacle for usage), tiny curvatures of brass tops.

The items were purchased on French auction. The attribution of French auction house is attached (see photos)
