This 19" musical Gorham limited edition doll is AMEY and she celebrated Gorham's 10th anniversary of quality dolls in 1990. AMEY was the wife of the founder of Gorham dolls, Jabez Gorham. This is a limited edition of 1000 pieces and this AMEY is number 282 of 1000. AMEY is made of porcelain head, lower arms and lower legs and has a cloth body. She was designed by Susan Stone Aiken. AMEY has deep blue eyes and around her neck is silver-plated heart locket dated 1990, with an amethyst stone. In her waist pocket/purse is a silver-plated compact mirror. She also wears the Gorham bracelet on her arm. Her 18 note musical movement plays "Anniversary Song." (See video). She comes with her Gorham hang tag, Certificate of Authenticity and original box. She is signed/stamped on the back of her neck with "Gorham" 1990 and 282/1000.
