Custom Linux Laptop with ALL of Wikipedia - HP Chromebook G5 EE 11.6 inch | 16GB SSD | 4GB RAM | Intel 1.60GHz Notebook Computer, 128GB SD Card with Wikipedia and Kiwix Browser

This laptop began life as a HP Chromebook that was then flashed with a custom BIOS and loaded with Manjaro Linux.  The result is a lightweight, super portable machine that makes a great inexpensive travel computer.  All drivers have been loaded and the bugs worked out; the laptops functions as expected (Wi-Fi, Audio, Bluetooth, Webcam, Microphone etc. all tested).  The top row shortcut keys function as normal function keys but could be remapped as you see fit. Laptop has two USB 3.0 ports, HDMI, and 3.5 mm audio jack. Manjaro includes MS Office-compatible document editing suites that work without any need for Internet connectivity.  It can open and natively edit you .doc, .xls, and .ppt files using OpenOffice.

Included in this offering is the entire English language Wikipedia, downloaded with all articles and photos, and loaded onto a high speed micro SD card.  This allows for complete offline viewing of Wikipedia.  A browser, Kiwix, opens the archive and allows for searching as you would normally do with the online version of the website.

Unlike the older, smaller, and more expensive WikiReaders, this package offers a Wiki archive that is complete, up-to-date, includes all photos, and all English articles.

The screen is in good condition with no cracks on the glass. There is a bit of pitting in the screen (see highlighted photo), this will vary a bit from unit to unit but will no be any worse than what is shown in the photo.  These wear marks are from contact with the trackpad.  Plastic case show light cosmetic scratches.  The battery holds a charge, and the computer ships with the HP OEM charger
