A lovely mixed delicate floral design ( slightly raised flowers)  gravy boat/sauce jug with fixed undertray measuring 8" across the tray and standing 3.25" tall produced by NORITAKE Sri Lanka in the LONGWOOD pattern (number 2485) bearing mark on the underside. 
The pattern consists of mauve blue and yellow flowers and foliage produced against a pure white porcelain ground and finished with gold gilding to the outer rims which is in excellent condition. with no chips, cracks or crazing to the glaze. Discontinued in 1979. Mostly been on display on dresser and has had little use. Has only ever been hand washed, think it could go in dishwasher on a gentle wash. Non microwavable due to good trim. Smoke free home.
