Vintage Genuine Alabaster & Brass Semi Flush Ceiling Light Fixture Art Deco.

I am 99% sure this is alabaster, according to my research please look at all photos to decide for yourself, it is definitely not glass. The alabaster dome by itself weighs 5.2lbs and is 13" in diameter.As you can see in photos it has some chips on the inside rim but they do not show when it is inserted in the light base. The base is mostly brass and painted a brass/gold color, it does have a few small blemishes and light scratches on it see photos. The light works fine and has the dark spots in it when it is on not sure what this is, they are the heavier white spots you see on the underside of dome, might be normal I do not know. Fixture hangs down about 13" form ceiling. Shade is about 7/16" thick on edges as seen in photos. It is a beautiful light and in very nice condition for age. This is all I know about this light any questions I will try to answer.
