This CPU was the heart of my workstation and gaming PC since 2018. It has seen several system rebuilds and worked exceptionally well until my most recent PC upgrade. The CPU has been de-lidded and has not had adhesive reapplied to the IHS. Therefore, extreme care must be taken to not remove or accidentally bump the IHS off or out of place when inserting into a new system as it is loose. Thermal grizzly conductonaut was applied directly to the die and atop the IHS and used in a watercooled and OC'd PC. The liquid metal atop the IHS has been cleaned off but exhibits signs or surface level corrosion/reactivity from use of the liquid metal compound in the past rendering the markings indicating CPU info unreadable. The liquid metal that was applied directly to the die in the past was not removed and the IHS has not been removed since the CPU's last clean and reapplication of liquid metal two years ago. The CPU is fully functional and capable of reaching some exceptional OC speeds with adequate cooling. ships as is in original box and packaging which holds the IHS in place. The CPU will need to be inserted carefully and the IHS held in place by the Motherboard CPU clamp/bracket unless you intend to reapply adhesive to the IHS to hold it in place.
