Engraved Beaker Ball Feet Danish 826 Silver Inscribed 1883

Danish 826 silver beaker standing on 3 applied ball feet. It features engraved foliate cartouche on the front, inscribed "Erik Sporon Fiedler", dated "24/7 83" (1883). Along the border, there is an engraved inscription in Danish: Ladder os altid Takke Herren vor Gud ("Let us always give thanks to the Lord our God"). The maker's mark and date mark are rubbed, assay master - Johannes Siggaard (1932-1960).

 This admirable beaker is 3 1/4" tall, 2 5/8" in diameter, weighing 81.9 grams or 2.64 ozs Troy.

The excellent original condition and clear, crisp detail, with no removals, repairs or alterations, make this an especially attractive offering.
