Antique Liqueur Cordial Glass With Facet Cut Bowl & Double Ball Knop Stem


Late Georgian/Early Victorian


This glass was purchased from the dispersal sale of Red House, William Morris’ home at Bexley Heath, Kent, England.


The base measures 56mm diameter. The rim diameter measures 53mm. The height measures 111mm.


The glass has a few tiny air bubbles. There are a few that have burst on the top surface of the foot. The base pontil has been ground smooth but has some rough areas and manufacture flaws. There is a possible stress fracture in stem of glass as per photo 10. There is scratching from useage to base outer edge. Minute fleabite or two to facet edges. No chips or cracks.
