This is by a long way the cleanest example I have come accross of this type of compass. Most are in an awefull condition with no fluid. Worse many have had the original black paint removed, which in my oppinion is a crime to history. The dial is mother of pearl and freely moving. There is some obvious patina due to age, but that must be expected. The reverse is marked T.G Co Ltd 1942 with a serial number No B171749, there is also the broad arrow/ crows foot mark. This would be an ideal addition to a collection or a gift. 6x6x3.3cm 1.18x1.18x1.29" approximately. I will list this item elsewhere.
